About the Webmaster
My name is Louie Encabo. A 16-year old Filipino secondary student residing in Auckland, New Zealand. I started this blog over three years back, after a political debate in my Science class awoke my political alter-ego. Ever since then I’ve tried my best to write at least an article a month, mainly political-themed. Sometimes I like to discuss about sports as well, particularly football. The name of the blog comes from the fact that I write about issues involving my country from a location thousands of miles away; something like being an exile. I hope to work as a diplomat for the Philippines someday. Why my for my impoverished, third-world country you might ask? Well I count myself as part of that small percentage of people in the world who would rather live their lives serving a cause rather than satisfying their greed and/or pride by collecting paper. I’m weird? I don’t think so, more like unconventional.
Viva Che! Viva Fidel!
The heroes of Cuba, of Angola, Bolivia and the third world!
I salute, Fidel Valdez Ramos. The Tiger of Philippine Politics.
Trillanes and the Magdalo were noble for exposing the corruption within the Armed Forces, however, their attempt at having a compromise with the New People’s Army made me lose my respect for them.
All hail Pope Benedict XVI! Thank you for shedding light on the plight of AIDS victims all over the world. May your recent teachings give shame to the authoritarian order of the CBCP!
